Senior Product Manager

Montreal, Quebec  - Permanent

Job Description

The Senior Product Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams on development, design, marketing, communications and sales to deliver the most innovative offerings to our clients and partners. You will:

•Drive the success of our product offering
•Incorporate market analysis, competitive understanding and customer feedback to understand the market and influence the product roadmap
•Translate initiatives, ideas, and feature requests into product requirements, user stories, and prototypes
•Work with UX designers and engineers to implement these features and ensure proper execution
•Work with Marketing and Sales to promote the offering
•Communicate across teams throughout the development process ensuring that needs are understood and deliverables are met
•Interact with customers to get product feedback and identify additional market opportunities
•Participate in process reviews and provide thought out recommendations for continuous improvement
•Serve as a product and industry expert as well as an evangelist for the Company’s products
•Mentor new employees and junior/intern Product Managers

Must Have Skills:

•7 years or more of software product management work experience
•2+ years or more of CCTV product management
•Excellent user experience skills with a history of working with development teams to produce great product
•Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
•Excellent organizational, problem-solving, analytical, written and oral presentation skills
•Strong time-management and prioritization skills as well as attention to detail
•Ability to work effectively on projects with developers and software dev managers
•Technical background is a must; hands-on Development/Engineering experience is preferred
•Willingness to travel (25% - 50%) and work odd hours (occasionally)
•Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Science, Information Technology
•Fluent written and oral Chinese (Mandarin) language skills
