Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing integrated marketing agency with a focus on XM and event marketing is looking for an experienced, passionate digital marketer to lead their digital engagement efforts.

Job Overview:
The Manager, Digital Engagement leads the integrated digital engagement strategy for multiple client accounts including entertainment, alcohol, telco and sports with a goal of driving revenue generation and brand-building through digital and mobile media channels. This role will also lead the strategy and execution of the agency’s owned digital assets.

Highlights of the role include:
- Lead and implement the digital engagement strategy based on analytics through: digital advertising, integrated direct marketing campaigns, search, display, native and social media, etc.
- Participate in the development and execution of strategic plans with clients to achieve goals and annual organizational business plans
- Collaborate with internal teams, external clients and external partners to develop impactful digital content that aligns with brand engagement
- Ensure that digital engagement strategies and tactics are integrated across all marketing channels and initiatives
- Lead the content strategy for the agency’s website and all other digital assets
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators and metrics for reporting on results of digital efforts to ensure effective ROI
- Provide leadership in digital marketing to build the knowledge and skills of the organization overall
- Identify and share digital marketing trends and opportunities; research and recommend new digital media opportunities to increase client and agency brand awareness and support revenue generation

Must Have Skills:

- Post-secondary degree preferably in business, communication, marketing, or equivalent field
- 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing, digital communications or equivalent experience, ideally in an XM and event environment
- Demonstrated success in digital marketing and specifically, in digital content that drives engagement and supports client business results
- Excellent written and oral communications skills including impactful presentation abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills that foster constructive relationships and collaboration
- Ability to inspire, coach and motivate others
- Resourceful, self-starter with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with SEO, search marketing, Google Analytics and other measurement tools for social media
- Experienced in copywriting/editing websites and social media channels
- Must have an active online presence


Nice to Have Skills:

- Understanding of and basic experience with coding languages (HTML/PHP)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Digital portfolio
- Familiar with online email marketing tools including online surveys
